Mike Williams

Mike and Brenda started Williams Group Marketing + Design in 1993 and have grown the business to be one of the South Puget Sound’s premier agencies. Prior to that time, Mike was a sports marketing specialist, working for 13 years for Santa Anita Thoroughbred Racetrack, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Clippers. Mike has served on numerous boards, currently serving on the Providence St. Peter Community Ministry Board. He’s also served as Board Chair of Thurston County Chamber of Commerce, Board President of United Way, Board President of Thurston County Economic Development Council, and the Olympia, Lacey, Thurston Visitor & Convention Bureau. Mike graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College where he was an All-America shortstop.

Brenda Williams

Having co-founded Williams Group and working within the agency for a number of years, Brenda took leadership of TAGS Awards & Specialties when the couple purchased that business in 2001. Prior to her Williams Group years, Brenda worked for Bullock’s Department Stores in Los Angeles, first as a department manager and later implementing an automated buying system for staple stock items. Brenda is an avid tennis player and is highly ranked in her age category for the Pacific Northwest. Brenda and Mike have two sons, Henry and Cameron, who both attend Whitworth University in Spokane. Brenda attended Smith College in Massachusetts where she earned Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and English.

We first hired Jeff when he was an art student at Otis School of Art and Design in Los Angeles in the early 2000’s. We thought we were helping a friend by giving her son some experience, but soon learned that the pleasure was all ours as Jeff brings big-city talent to our firm. A graduate of the graphic design degree program at Clover Park Technical College, Andrew’s clients constantly share their appreciation for his work and his caring, personal style. Elisa

Elisa recently joined Williams Group and serves as a graphic designer. She received her training at Seattle Central Creative Academy after shepherding projects to the press at the Washington State Department of Printing for three years. Highly skilled in logo design as well as UI/UX for mobile applications, Elisa brings a well-rounded skill set to the agency. As one former boss put it, “Everyone likes her, and her talent is exceptional.” Well, we certainly agree!

Peggy

PHP Developer

Now in her second year at Williams Group Marketing + Design, Peggy is another Clover Park Technical College grad who is proficient in PHP, HTML, javascript and more. Using her capable talent and pleasant style, many of our websites have been customized to handle a number of functions for our clients and their customers.
